The Buchan coastline is set to host this entirely new event to the British circuit in 2026.

Buchan Wave Classic 2026 is a ‘Roll Over’ event which will count towards Scottish national titles.

Kids training: Yes. Wave Jam (free sailing) area being covered/supervised by Sami Poole. 

The minimum entry level requirement for this training event is competent beach starting ability level with waterstarting ability being desirable.

Buchan Wave Classic 2026 is a ‘Roll Over’ event which will count towards Scottish national titles.

A roll-over event accounts for the unpredictable nature of wind conditions. If windsurfing conditions are unsuitable during the initial scheduled weekend, the event automatically rolls over to the backup dates. This ensures competitors and spectators enjoy the best possible windsurfing conditions for high-quality performances and safety.
